Woman posing as nurse may be working in Kitsilano

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — A woman posing as a nurse may be working in Vancouver.

The B.C. College of Nursing Professionals is warning that Madison Zarazun has been posing as a nurse in B.C., looking for jobs as a registered nurse (RN) or caregiver.

Zarazun has apparently responded to at least one job advertisement for an in-home caregiver and told her prospective employer she was an RN.

According to the college, the woman may already be working with medically fragile children in Kitsilano in Vancouver, and going with the child to school.

The college say Zarazun is not registered with them and is not authorized to practice as a registered nurse in the province.
