Dragon boat festival gets underway in False Creek
It’s an annual and very colourful tradition in Vancouver’s False Creek! The 2019 Dragon Boat Festival kicks off today.

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival kicks off today in False Creek.
The festival boasts displays of boat building and sailing along with live music and entertainment. It’s the largest of it’s kind outside of Hong Kong.
The event runs throughout the weekend.
Approximately 125,000 people are expected to attend the festivities.
