Gas line rupture leads to home evacuations in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A few homes in Surrey have been evacuated after crews were called in to deal with a gas leak.

Fortis BC is working on the leak near 103 Avenue and 132 Street in the Whalley township after it was ruptured by a contractor earlier this afternoon.

There are no reports of anyone being hurt.
