A different police incident on Tuesday night had police swarm a second neighborhood in Vancouver.

Police say they got a call about a gun-shot heard inside an apartment building just after 10:00 p.m. near West 70th and Cartier Street. When officers arrived, the VPD says they realized a man had apparently shot a gun into the floor.

The man was not cooperative and it took several hours for officers to arrest him. It was discovered when he was taken into custody that the 40-year-old was also wanted on two outstanding warrants.

No one was hurt in this shooting.
