Canucks owners asks fans if team should name a captain

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Should the Vancouver Canucks have a captain this year? Owner Francesco Aquilini wants to hear from you.
Andrew Walker with Sportsnet 650 says it’s time they did.
“Bo Horvat, this is going to be his sixth season with the Canucks. He is one of the few guys on long-term deals. When you look at all the possibilities, I know there will be some push for Elias Pettersson because he’s their best player,” says Walker. “This is Bo Horvat’s team.”

The Canucks have been in a rebuild phase, but Walker thinks that time is over as well.
“The Canucks have kind of made the statement that the rebuild for all intents and purposes is over. They’re trying to win. So, it’s time of next season.”
The last captain of the Canucks was Henrik Sedin two seasons ago.
