VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A dirt biker who went out for a ride in the Squamish area Sunday night and didn’t come back had rescue crews out searching for him Saturday morning.

Mike Danks is the team lead with North Shore Rescue.

“I think the group is camping near Chance Creek and the individual went for a dirt bike ride last night and did not return,” he says.

The dirt biker is a man in his early 30s, Danks says, and he was found at around noon on Saturday.

SAR sent Talon helicopters and ATVs to help in the search.
