Tornado touches down near Crossfield

ALBERTA (660 NEWS) — It was a scary scene Sunday afternoon as a severe thunderstorm brought a tornado to an area north of Calgary.
A tornado warning was issued for Beiseker, Acme and Rocky View County after the tornado was spotted near Crossfield around 2:15 p.m.

The twister was spotted by many on the roads and Twitter was soon flooded with images and videos.

People in the area were advised to seek shelter in reinforced structures such as a basement, bathroom, stairwell or interior closet.
Right now there’s been no reports of any injuries.
