Unsung Hero: Local man holds inclusive gaming event to others people feel safe

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The latest winner in the NEWS 1130 Unsung Hero contest is Findlay Craig of Vancouver. He was nominated by Corry Laycock.

“Findlay is the fearless leader and founder of “Toss Yer Cabers.” Toss Yer Cabers is an inclusive event in which all members of the gaming community are welcome to participate in an environment where they feel safe and un-threatened,” Corry explains. “Findlay organizes numerous charity tournaments in support of the Lookout Housing and Health Society.”

Findlay has collected over $10,000. One hundred per cent of the proceeds, as well as toiletries and clothes, are donated to the Lookout Housing and Health Society.

“He works tirelessly promoting the event and running it, as well it gives an opportunity to promote Miniature Gaming while giving back.”
