VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – The Vancouver Police Department is again trying to find 61-year-old David Sullivan, who has now been missing for almost a month.

Cst. Steve Addision says initially, police thought they had found him in the U.S., but it turned out that person was not Sullivan.

“We initially had some information that led us to believe initially that he was alive and well in the United States. We believed through travel records that he had entered the United States. Upon further review of those travel records and documentation, we discovered that the person in the United States that we thought was Mr. Sullivan is in fact a different Mr. Sullivan.”

Addison they have no leads at this point, and notes it’s imperative they they find him to not only ease his family’s concerns, but because Sullivan has a number of medical concerns.

“He has dementia and he has diabetes. Because he’s been unaccounted for more than three weeks now, we’re growing increasingly concerned for his safety.”

He was last seen in person on June 27 in the area of Gore and Alexander Street in Vancouver, and on June 29 he was spotted on surveillance video in the same area.

Sullivan is Caucasian, and is bald with a round face. He’s between 5’10” and 6′ tall with a heavy build. He tends to wear a tag around his neck with his address on it.
