RCMP still looking for two missing men from Surrey, last seen July 17

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – The Surrey RCMP is still trying to find Ryan Provencher and Richard Scurr, and hope a new photo of Ryan will help the public in locating them.

The RCMP says the pair, last seen on July 17, appear to have been travelling to Spences Bridge, south of Ashcroft. It looks like they made it there, but they haven’t been heard from since.

Cpl. Elenore Sturko says police still aren’t sure why 38-year-old Provencher and 37-year-old Scurr went to the southern Interior.

The Jeep they were thought to be travelling in was found two days ago near Logan Lake, about 300 kilometres northeast of Surrey. Foul play is not suspected and this case isn’t believed to be linked to the double homicides in northern B.C.
