Witness to fatal stabbing on Richmond bus has come forward: IHIT

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) — A witness to a fatal stabbing on a Richmond bus came forward on Friday, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Unit.

Police put out a call to the public for assistance identifying a woman who they said was a “key witness” to a fatal stabbing on a Richmond bus on Tuesday.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team described the woman as: Asian, wearing sunglasses, a dark hat, white jacket, blue pants, and carrying a black purse.
A 42-year old man was stabbed on Tuesday at around 2 p.m. He later died from his injuries.
The stabbing happened on a Coast Mountain bus near Aberdeen Centre.
A 21-year old man has since been arrested.
