SURREY (NEWS 1130) – About 900 BC Hydro customers are without power this morning.

The utility says a crash is to blame for the outage, which was first affecting more than 4,000 customers.

Crews are working to restore electricity.

The crash happened earlier this morning in the area of 96 Avenue between 118 Street and Scott Road.

The outage is affecting some traffic lights.
