Stabbing outside of Nanaimo nightclub sends one man to hospital

NANAIMO (NEWS 1130) – One man is in hospital after a stabbing near a Nanaimo nightclub, according to RCMP.
It happened just after midnight on Saturday morning on Skinner Street, when the RCMP say they responded to calls of a man with multiple stab wounds.
First responders performed emergency first aid on the 35-year-old man, who was then taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim was stabbed during a fight that broke out on the street and several people involved were identified and are now in custody.
No charges have yet been laid, but the Nanaimo RCMP are asking anyone with information of cellphone video to please contact police.
