Police suspect homicide in disappearance of two men from Surrey

Police now believe Ryan Provencher and Richard Scurr were the target of homicide.

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Police now believe Ryan Provencher and Richard Scurr were the target of homicide.

They were last seen on July 17 in a white Jeep Cherokee, which was found abandoned on a forest service road near Logan Lake.

Police executed a search warrant on a rural property in Spences Bridge, west of Kamloops, where they believe the pair were travelling. The search was done in an effort to find evidence leading to the location of the two men.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the whereabouts of the men to contact Surrey RCMP at 604-599-0502. For those who wish to remain anonymous, they can contact 1-800-222-8477.
