RCMP investigating fatal head-on collision in the Cariboo

MCLEESE LAKE (NEWS 1130) — One woman has died after a head-on collision on Highway 97 between Williams Lake and Quesnel Friday afternoon.
The woman was a passenger in a pickup which was hit by an oncoming SUV, according to a release.
The crash occurred just before 1:00 p.m. and RCMP’s North District Traffic Services is investigating.
Two men were seriously injured and transported to hospital, one by air and one by ambulance.
The cause of the crash has not been determined and no information has been released about the people involved.
