RCMP investigate fraud at boat dealership in Surrey

SURREY (NEWS 1130) — A boat dealership is the focus of a fraud investigation by Mounties in Surrey.
One person has been arrested and several boats have been seized form Breakwater Marine, on the Fraser Highway near 160th Ave..
“Surrey RCMP has received multiple complaints regarding the business since June 2019 and officers have been in the information gathering stage since that time,” Mounties say in a release.
One person has been arrested. Police believe there may be additional victims who have yet to come forward, if you’ve been the victim of a fraud in relation to Breakwater Marine please give police a call quoting file number 2019-97189.

“Officers believe there may be other victims who have not yet come forward and are urging them to contact police if they have allegedly been defrauded monies or property by the business,” police add.
