Police asking for help in B.C. suspicious death four years ago

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Four years after the body of Delores Brown was found on an island in the Strait of Georgia, homicide detectives are asking the public’s help in finding out how she died.

Police say the 19-year-old, known as Deedee, was partying on Penelakut Island with friends on July 27, 2015, and didn’t return home that night.

A month later her body was discovered on Norway Island, with investigators calling her death suspicious.

Police are appealing to anyone with information that may help their investigation to come forward.
