Three people injured in helicopter crash north of Toronto

TORONTO (680 NEWS) – Three people were transported to the hospital after a helicopter crashed in a rural area north of Toronto on Saturday.
The Gravenhurst Fire Department tweeted at around 6:15 p.m. Saturday they had been dispatched to an area near Cooper’s Falls, Ont. for a downed aircraft.
The Ontario Provincial Police said a military search and rescue helicopter transported three people to a Toronto hospital. One person had serious injuries and the other two had minor injuries.
Transport Canada has been notified of the incident, the OPP said.
