Abbotsford Police ask for help in finding Taiwanese tourist

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Abbotsford Police are asking for the public’s help to find a Taiwanese man who disappeared while on vacation.
Ci Hong Liao, 31, was last seen on July 4 at around 11:45 p.m. He was entering his hotel room at the Best Western on Marshall Road.
The next morning, at approximately 8:30 a.m., the guide for his Taiwanese tour group discovered Liao was missing, along with his luggage and belongings.
Liao has no known connections in the Lower Mainland, but he does speak English.
He is approximately 5’7″ and 150 pounds with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a thin blue jacket and either blue jeans or black pants.
Abbotsford Police ask anyone with information to Liao’s whereabouts to call them at 604-859-5225. Tips can also be reported anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
