PNE Snap Happy a Sign of the Times

Last Updated Aug 20, 2019 at 6:09 pm PDT

We have to thank The PNE Fair’s Patrick Roberge and his team for keeping up with the times. For a quarter century, Roberge has created a PNE Fair guest experience that caters to all! All cultures, all demographics and even generations from 2 to 92. His team has mastered the skill of keeping loyal Fair goers satisfied with old favourites but also continually keeping it fresh and exciting year after year. Since the world has no intention of ending it’s infatuation with selfies and capturing that perfect Instagram photo, Roberge jumped on the bandwagon offering Vancouverites the ultimate exhibit to get creative with those PNE photos at all new #PNESnapHappy exhibit. Personally, I loved the hamburger photo opportunity. For a complete list of new and returning attractions for 2019 including the Summer Night Concerts visit www.pne.ca¬†

The Lululemon SeaWheeze Half Marathon took over the streets of Vancouver on Saturday for 10,000 runners to goal crush their way across the finish line – in luon of course. I interviewed Michelle Davies, the VP of Global Events and the Athlete Influencer Program who described the SeaWheeze as Lululemon’s love letter to Vancouver. The Sunset Festival wrapped the event in Stanley Park with high energy performances by Big Wild and DJ Kascade. Be sure to follow Michelle’s advice if you have high hopes of securing a race entry for 2020!
