One man dead in East Vancouver motorcycle accident

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – One man is dead after a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon.

It happen around 2 p.m. near Boundary Road and Rumble Street when the 23-year-old man from Richmond lost control and was thrown from his bike.


According to a statement from the Vancouver Police Department, bystanders performed CPR before the paramedics arrived.

While speed appears to be a factor in the accident, the investigation to determine the cause is ongoing.

This is Vancouver’s tenth motor vehicle fatality this year.
