Person taken to hospital in critical condition after Maple Ridge balcony fall

MAPLE RIDGE (NEWS 1130) – A person has been seriously hurt after falling from a balcony in Maple Ridge.

B.C. Emergency Health Services has confirmed paramedics were called to an apartment building along 238 Street around 11:00 p.m. Thursday.

The person was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, but no further details have been released.

It’s unclear how high up the person fell from, or what caused them to fall.
