Shoppers Drug Mart now delivers in Metro Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – You can now get same-day home delivery from Shoppers Drug Mart in parts of Metro Vancouver.

The company announced Thursday that it is partnering with Instacart, the same company that does grocery deliveries for the owner of Shoppers, Loblaw Companies Limited.

You’ll be able to order groceries, drug store items like shampoo and toilet paper, as well as over-the-counter medications. In a release, the company says in most parts of Vancouver, you should receive your order in less than an hour.

There is a fee – on orders of $35 or more it’s $3.99, but for Instacart members it is free.

The service is now available at 361 Shoppers locations across the country.
