City worker killed on the job in Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — A City of Vancouver worker was killed on the job Saturday afternooon.
The City of Vancouver confirmed the person who died was on the job at Boundary Road and Second Avenue.
NEWS 1130 has heard it appears a large piece of equipment came loose from a trailer and rolled down a hill, hitting and killing someone.

RCMP, WorksafeBC, and City of Vancouver investigations are underway. Counselling services are onsite and being offered to staff.
