VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) — The City of Vancouver has identified the man who was killed in a workplace accident on Saturday.
Condolences are pouring in for Morena Cerra, who was struck and killed by a heavy piece of equipment at a worksite at Boundary and Second Avenue.
Cerra had picked up an extra shift the day he was killed and worked as an experienced driver.

The City thanked Cerra for his 17 years of service.
RCMP, WorkSafe BC and the union continue to investigate the accident.
