Downtown Ladner back open after tattoo parlor fire

DELTA (NEWS 1130) – Part of downtown Ladner is back open after a tattoo parlor went up in flames early Wednesday morning.
The area around 48th Avenue between Elliott and Delta streets was blocked off after flames broke out around 5:00 a.m.

“Honestly, I don’t know what happened yet,” Casey McCaskill, who owns the Brass Eagle Tattoo Company with her husband, said. “There was a massive fire about 5 a.m., and now we’re just trying to figure it all out.”
The shop is destroyed but Delta Fire seems to have kept neighbouring businesses relatively unharmed. The fire was out by about 7:00 a.m.

There’s no word yet on what started the blaze.
