ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A man has been shot in Abbotsford.
The victim — a man in his 20s — was shot while sitting in a green SUV at a gas station in the area of South Fraser Way and Janzen Street at around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Though he was apparently hit, it looks like he took off in his SUV, smashing into another vehicle.

That SUV ended up more than three kilometres away at the Abbotsford Regional Hospital, where the man is believed to be recovering.
Police tape surrounded the gas station in the hours after the shooting, and at one point, police tape also surrounded the hospital where the victim was being treated.
There are reports a burned-out vehicle was found a short distance away, and it’s believed it may be the car used by whoever pulled the trigger.
These are all very typical of an organized hit, however, police aren’t saying if the shooting was in fact targeted.
