Windy weather blowing through Metro Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Trees and branches are already swaying.
A wind warning has been issued for Metro Vancouver as a cold front sweeps across the south coast. The gusts up to 70 km per hour in the next few hours could cause some damage or power outages, but there haven’t been any reports of wide-spread power outages in the region.

So far, there haven’t been any issues with BC Ferries or operations at YVR either.
The warning is for the North Shore, Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond and Delta. If you’re in the Fraser Valley, it shouldn’t be anything to worry about.
