VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A 26-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in a murder case from 2018.

Vancouver Police have arrested Shannon Watts who has now been charged with one count of second-degree murder in the death of her common-law husband, Shane Tolmie.

Police were called to Watts’ Downtown Eastside apartment on June 28th, 2018 and found Tolmie inside, with a stab wound.

He later died in the hospital.

Watts was arrested at the scene but was released while the investigation continued and the approval of the charge by Crown Counsel.
