VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Vancouver. The Circle Craft Christmas Market opens Thursday at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
Ceramics, carvings, and jewelry will all be on display, but Show Producer Rossanne Clamp says visitors can also learn a thing or two.
“We also have on-the-hour artist demonstrations this year. We’ve got clay building, we’ve got clay spinning, we’ve got ceramic painting,” she says.
The market runs until Monday, and Clamp expects it to be another busy year.
“Every single year, regardless of what’s going on, we always turn out at least 45,000 people,” she says, adding the weekend forecast may help those numbers.
“What we really want is a nice drizzle because when the sun is shining and it’s late into the season, people want to really be outside and, of course, we’re an indoor show.”
