Man dead after ‘disturbance’ in North Surrey

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A man is dead following what police are calling a “disturbance” in North Surrey on Remembrance Day.

Police say the victim was found alive but with critical injuries on Old Yale Road near 120 Street Monday just before 5 p.m.

The Surrey RCMP says he died a short time later.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called in, but the RCMP says the incident doesn’t appear to be random or connected to ongoing gang conflict in the area.

There’s no word yet on any arrests, or how the man was killed.
