VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) –  Six SeaBus sailings have been cancelled for Tuesday afternoon and evening as Metro Vancouver transit workers continue job action.

Coast Mountain Bus Company and Unifor have also warned that disruptions to bus service could begin again Tuesday as the long weekend has wrapped.

The union began limited job action on Nov. 1, including a ban on overtime by maintenance workers and transit drivers refusing to wear uniforms.

It has announced it will lay out further plans for the ongoing strike on Tuesday morning.

Several universities have warned students, faculty and staff to consider alternative transportation methods as buses to campus could wind up delayed or cancelled
