DELTA (NEWS 1130) – While it may be early to start thinking about Christmas for some, one woman from Delta is hoping to make a difference this holiday season.

Erin Schulte organized the “Christmas Card Collective“, a project that aims to donate thousands of Christmas cards to homeless shelters.

She started the project last year, and after a successful campaign has decided to do the same this year as well.

The donated cards are signed with a message and placed on the pillows of people staying in different shelters leading up to Christmas.

This year’s goal is 10,000 holiday cards, which will be distributed across shelters in B.C., Alberta, Toronto, Seattle and Los Angeles.
