Two people found dead in Surrey home; IHIT treating one as possible homicide

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Two people have been found dead in a home in Surrey, and police say one of them appears to be the victim of a homicide.
The RCMP and the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team say it happened just before 5 p.m. on Thursday at a home on 120A Ave. near 140th St.
They say the two dead knew one another, and they are not looking for any suspects.

They said they will not be providing other details at this point, and there is no risk to the public. A release says police expect to be in the area for a number of days during the investigation.
A neighbour says she didn’t hear any gunshots on Thursday, though she did see the emergency vehicles arrive. She believes a group of men live in the home.
Whether the incident is connected to another homicide scene in Surrey is not yet known.
