Third feces-throwing incident reported at Toronto university campus

By

TORONTO – A third incident in which a bucket of feces was dumped on a person has been reported outside a Toronto university.

Police were called to the scene outside a building at the University of Toronto just before midnight on Monday.

Investigators said a bucket of feces was dumped on a female on the street. The orange bucket from Home Depot was left at the scene.

The suspect, described as a man in his 30s wearing a yellow construction hat, a blue shirt and gloves, left the scene quickly after the incident.

This comes after two other similar instances were reported in or near a Toronto university since late last week.

A student studying in York University’s Scott Library had a bucket of “liquified fecal matter” dumped on them on Sunday around 5:00 p.m.

The suspect has been described as a man in his 20s with a medium build in that case. He was wearing a black hat, blue top, light-coloured pants and black gloves.

The second time something like this happened it was at the University of Toronto’s Robarts Library, and police are still working to determine if the two incidents are connected.

They have also yet to provide any details on whether this third instance is related.
