Vancouver airport is warning there could be some traffic slowdowns for travellers on Black Friday

Airport staff advise leaving early for your flight and planning where you will park

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Vancouver International Airport is warning of possible traffic problems this coming Friday, as the nearby outlet mall is expected to be busy.

Nov. 29 is Black Friday, one of the biggest shopping days of the year. It’s also a busy day for flights, and the airport is advising travellers take extra time to get to the airport to accommodate slowed-down traffic.

Stores at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Vancouver, on Templeton Station Rd., will be discounting merchandise and the crowds expected could even impact airport parking.

Airport staff advise leaving early and planning where you will park.
