VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – One man is dead after an early morning crash Saturday on Boundary Road at Marine Drive in Vancouver.
According to the Vancouver Police Department, the crash took place around 6 a.m. when a vehicle driving South on Boundary went airborne, colliding with another vehicle heading in the opposite direction.

A 40-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say speed was likely a cause.
The driver of the other car was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

In a tweet police say the investigation is still under way.
The VPD, Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, Burnaby Fire Department and BC Ambulance have responded to the incident.
