LONDON, ONTARIO (NEWS 1130) – Police in London, Ontario have issued a province-wide warrant for two men from Surrey who are allegedly involved in a human trafficking ring.
Police have identified 22-year-old Elkan Vyizigiro and Meaz Nour-Eldin, and have obtained Ontario-wide warrants for their arrests.
Now they are hoping the public can help track the two men down and prevent any other victims from being trafficked.
Officers say a victim was trafficked in London and other Ontario cities over a three-week period in October of this year.
As a result of that investigation, a 24-year-old woman from London was arrested and charged with trafficking.
Both male suspects are jointly charged by warrant of arrest with trafficking in persons by recruiting, recruiting a person to provide sexual services for consideration, and financial/material benefit/trafficking person over 18.
Nour-Eldin is also charged with uttering threats and assault. There is a Canada-wide arrest warrant for kidnapping in another case out of B.C.
Police do believe there may be other victims targeted by the two men.
Both are considered armed and dangerous.
