VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A driver in Vancouver is out about $400 after they were caught speeding twice in a span of 13-minutes Saturday morning.
VPD constable, Mark Christensen, tweeted out a picture of the two tickets Sunday morning.
Ladies and Gentlemen, just because you received a speeding ticket at 1 location, doesn’t mean you can’t get a 2nd one 13 mins later at another location! $396.00 and 6 points!

“Ladies and Gentlemen, just because you received a speeding ticket at 1 location, doesn’t mean you can’t get a 2nd one 13 mins later at another location! $396.00 and 6 points!” Christensen’s tweet reads.
Based on the tickets Christensen posted on Twitter, the driver apparently received their first ticket on Knight Street at 7:02 a.m. and was handed their second ticket on Kingsway at 7:15 a.m.
In addition to paying off the tickets, the driver is also getting 6 points on their record, which likely means they’ll be paying more for insurance.
“Please slow down and arrive safely!” Christensen adds to the end of his tweet.
