Expect more traffic delays through downtown Vancouver in 2020

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – Construction projects may give you even more of a headache if you drive through downtown Vancouver.
The city is planning to lay out its plans for various projects, including a major water main replacement, set to begin next month.
The work is expected to affect traffic along West Georgia starting in January, 2020.
The existing pipe, installed in 1924, has reached the end of its service life and needs to be replaced after a series of recent leaks.
Work is set to begin on Georgia and Howe streets, and move west.
