VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – As of Friday, Christmas is just five days away, which means you only have a handful of shopping days left to complete your Christmas shopping list.
Malls are overflowing with people and many are feeling the stress.
“It’s busy, and there is big line ups,” one man said earlier this month.
Keep in mind, Friday also marks the last day of school for kids before the holidays, and they will be off until the New Year. That might be the reason you may notice a few extra bodies wandering through the malls.
As malls fill up with more people, E-Comm is also warning shoppers to be aware of your surroundings and make sure you always know your location in case of an emergency.
“Your cellphone will not pinpoint your exact location for our call takers, so while you’re doing your holiday shopping, pay attention to your surroundings in case you need to call 9-1-1,” E-Comm’s tweet reads.

To add to the holiday stress, Friday marks the last day of fall, with Old Man Winter knocking on the door.
The roads will be busy so make sure you give yourself extra time getting around.
