According to Richmond RCMP they launched an investigation surrounding 49-year-old Satvir Sanghera last August.

On Tuesday, the BC Prosecution Service approved 14 charges, including sexual assault, assault, transmitting intimate images of a person without consent and possession of child pornography.

Several victims have come forward alleging Sanghera targeted vulnerable women and those in the sex trade.

Sanghera’s next court appearance is Jan. 15.

The court has also outlined provisions Sanghera must follow.
