Two armed robberies occur less than hour apart in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) — On Monday afternoon, two armed robberies took place within an hour of each other in Abbotsford.
The first robbery occurred at a liquor store around 9:50 p.m., and about 35-minutes later, a gas station along Fraser Highway was robbed.
In both cases, a man pulled out a hand-gun and demanded money before taking off.

Police think the same person was behind both robberies and are looking for a suspect.
The man is described as white or having light brown skin, with a medium build and between is five foot seven inches and five foot nine inches tall.
No one was hurt between the two incidents.
