Snow-related school closures around the Lower Mainland

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – It could be music to your kids’ ears! The recent blast of snow around the Lower Mainland has forced a number of school closures in the region.
CLOSURES:
- Betty Gilbert in Langley is closed due to a power outage
- Chilliwack School District
- Credo Christian Elementary School in Langley
- Delta Boundary Bay Montessori School
- Khalsa School of the Fraser Valley
- Lions Gate Christian Academy in North Vancouver
- Mission School District
- Maple Ridge Christian School
- Shortreed Elementary School in Langley is closed due to a power outage
- Sprott Shaw College – Chilliwack campus
- St. Andrew’s Elementary in Vancouver
- St. Micheal’s Elementary in Burnaby
- Queen of All Saints in Coquitlam
- University of the Fraser Valley – all campuses
- Valley Christian School in Mission
- West Coast Christian School
- West Vancouver public schools
OPEN:
- Abbotsford schools
- Burnaby schools
- Capilano University – Main campus, Lonsdale campus
- Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Anmore, and Belcarra schools
- Delta public schools
- Langley schools*
- *Betty Gilbert and Shortreed Elementary School are both CLOSED due to a power outage
