BC Ferries cancels sailing on all major routes

VICTORIA (NEWS 1130) — BC Ferries has cancelled all sailings to Vancouver Island Wednesday afternoon.
Sailings are cancelled as of 3 p.m. due to anticipated high winds.

A spokesperson says the decision to cancel sailings altogether is never taken lightly, and made when conditions mean it is just not safe for the vessels, crews and customers to travel.
