PORT MOODY (NEWS 1130) — A seven-year-old boy is going to be okay after getting hit by a car in Port Moody Monday.
It happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Clarke Street, a couple of blocks down from the Barnet Highway.
Police say the child was crossing mid-block when he was knocked to the ground by the passing vehicle.

His injuries are not life-threatening.
“Speed and alcohol were not factors in the collision, however, poor visibility and weather conditions did contribute,” read a statement by police.
The driver stayed on scene and cooperated with investigators.
