Future of Massey Tunnel set for discussion

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) — Plans to tackle the congestion on either side of the existing Massey Tunnel will be revealed at an information session Wednesday night in Richmond.

The Ministry of Transportation is set to discuss the work between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at the Olympic Oval.

There will also be an update on the selection process for long-term solutions and the new or expanded George Massey crossing.

Another information session will be held Thursday at the Coast Tsawwassen Inn in Delta.

It has been more than two years since the 10-lane bridge replacement project was cancelled.
