Two Canadians quarantined on cruise ship test positive for novel coronavirus

Princess Cruises is now confirming in a statement that 10 more people on board the Diamond Princess ship have tested positive for the virus, including two Canadians.

JAPAN (NEWS 1130) – Two more Canadians have reportedly been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Princess Cruises is now confirming in a statement that 10 more people on board the Diamond Princess ship have tested positive for the virus, including two Canadians.

According to Princess Cruises, the second round of infected guests include four Japanese guests, one person from Taiwan, two Americans, two Canadians and one guest from New Zealand.

The vessel was already quarantined off the Japanese coast after 10 people on board were found to have the virus earlier this week.

All 20 have been carefully transported to the shore and now are receiving treatment in the hospital.
