Man shot in Langley dies of injuries, police appeal for witnesses

LANGLEY (NEWS 1130) — After almost a week in hospital in critical condition, a man shot in Langley has died from his injuries.
Police identified the man shot on Feb. 7 as 42-year-old Ravinder Singh Sandhu.
He was found shot inside his vehicle in the parking lot of the Langley Crossing Shopping Centre around 9:30 p.m.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over the investigation and says the shooting was targeted.
“We share the community’s concern over this shooting in a public place that left one man dead and placed other lives at risk,” says Sergeant Frank Jang of IHIT.
“We also share the community’s fervor to bring the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice and call on anyone who can help us do so to come forward.”
We have taken conduct of the investigation from Langley Crossing Shopping Center. A man was shot in the parking lot last Friday around 9:30pm. He recently died in hospital.
