VANCOUVER: (NEWS 1130) – Due to anti-pipeline protests blockading rail lines, VIA Rail is cancelling all scheduled train trips across the country.

The company is also stopping all transcontinental trains across its Canadian network.

VIA Rail said in a statement that it has no other option but to cancel its services, effective immediately and until further notice.
